Our Story

What started as a small network of pet-loving neighbours helping each other out has grown into a trusted pet care service across Australia. We saw how stressful it could be for pet owners to find reliable, caring people to look after their animals, and we wanted to change that.

Every member of our team shares a deep connection with animals. Many of us have grown up surrounded by pets, worked in veterinary clinics, or volunteered at animal shelters. This experience shapes how we approach every interaction, whether it is a quick dog walk or an extended stay while you travel.

We believe pets deserve the same warmth and attention they receive at home, even when their owners cannot be there. That belief guides everything we do.

What We Stand For

Trust

We understand you are inviting us into your home and entrusting us with your pet. We take that responsibility seriously and work to earn your confidence.

Consistency

Pets thrive on routine. We maintain feeding schedules, exercise patterns, and familiar habits so your pet feels secure.

Communication

You will receive updates, photos, and honest feedback about how your pet is doing. No surprises, just transparency.

Compassion

Every animal has a unique personality. We take time to understand your pet's needs, preferences, and quirks.

Our Approach

Before we begin caring for your pet, we take time to meet them in their environment. This initial visit helps us understand their personality, any special requirements, and the routines they are used to.

We ask questions about dietary needs, favourite toys, behavioural tendencies, and anything else that will help us provide tailored care. Whether your dog needs extra patience during walks or your cat prefers quiet companionship, we adapt to suit them.

Our carers keep detailed notes and communicate with each other if multiple team members are involved in your pet's care. This ensures continuity and reduces any stress your pet might feel with different people.

"We were nervous about leaving our rescue greyhound with strangers, but the team at snug-isle was incredibly patient with her anxiety. They followed our instructions exactly and sent us reassuring updates throughout our trip."
